Jason Moore does not fit the conventional profile of a Napa Valley vintner. He was born and raised in Dallas, the son of a carpenter, trained briefly in real estate, and arrived in Napa without capital, a vineyard, or formal enology credentials. What he did bring was obsession, intuition, and a willingness to learn the craft from the ground up—traits that would ultimately define both his wines and the philosophy behind Modus Operandi.
