Odyssée
Odyssée is the creation of Matthieu Dumarcher, an organic Rhône-based winemaker, and his friend, Pierre Graffeuille, the managing director of Eutopia Estates, which includes Château Montrose in Saint-Estèphe, Clos Rougeard in Saumur, Domaine Rebourseau in Gevrey Chambertin, and Lost Mountain in Virginia/USA. Launched in 2015, Odyssée’s project began as an experiment in bridging two of France’s most famous red-wine regions—Bordeaux’s structured Cabernet Sauvignon and the Rhône’s generous, sun-filled Grenache. The result is delicious heresy.
